Here you can find the most popular hiking areas in Iceland, and we are going to take one at Stakkholtsgjá, exploring the shapes, colours, forms, sights and paths, which vary from year to year.
On this tour we will also see the scenic views at Nauthúsagil canyon, which will dazzle you with its allure and mystique, drive through mountain roads, and experience the Gígjökull glacier, which is one of the two glacier outlets of the notorious Eyjafjallajökull. Gígjökull descends very rapidly, and can be defined as an ice fall. Icelanders sometimes call it Falljökull, which exactly means “Ice Fall”.
